History, uses and notes:

Ribwort Plantain is a strong but not dominating plant and can be found all over Britain's grasslands.

It can survive in a range of soils and provides an interesting shape and texture mix to your wildflower meadow. 

Historically, Ribwort Plantain has been used as tea and to treat skin complaints applied externally. 

Having a long flowering period from spring to late autumn, Ribwort Plantain will certainly help bring #bringthebeesback

Description:

Ribwort plantain has spear-shaped leaves that form a rosette at the base of the plant. Short stems grow from its leaves, with compact flower heads that display protruding white stamens. The flower heads gradually turn brown and seed.
